Muriel Thibaud is a graduate from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Tours, specialised in finance and audit.
Career :
After starting her career in audit at Salustro Reydel, Muriel Thibaud joined the Taittinger Group where she was entrusted with the responsibility of the consolidated accounts of the group's listed holding company.
In 2002, she joined the BNP Paribas Group, at Finance Group, where she was successively responsible for the Group's consolidation and deputy to the Group’s Head of accounting standards. For more than ten years, she worked on all of BNP Paribas' transformative operations (BNL, BNP Paribas Fortis, Teb, etc.).
Muriel Thibaud joined BNP Paribas Cardif's Finance team in 2016, as Head of Financial Communications and Capital management. In 2021, she moved to the Risk Department, where she ensured the relationship with the ACPR, coordinated the production of regulatory reports, stress tests as well as the deployment of model risk governance. At the beginning of 2024, she will took over the responsibility for the ALM, Market and Credit second look team.
In September 2024, she was appointed Chief Risk Officer of BNP Paribas Cardif and a member of the Executive Committee.
